Wax fresh flowers or dry them?

I am waxing some flowers and drying some. What I want to know is; how many times do you dip the flower in the wax and how long does the flower last?

Wax fresh flowers or dry them?
I only dip it 3-4 times because I don't like the wax to build up too thick. Waxed flowers, in my experience, last longer than the dried but they do attract dust. The dried flowers lack moisture and become very brittle over time causing heavy parts (like the bloom) not to be supported enough and fall off. The waxed flowers don't suffer the same fate, however, to keep them clean use canned air to blow off the dust from time to time. You will enjoy them longer if you do.
