for a friends birthday present I'll be plaicng a dried apple blossom on a picture, so I was wondering how I could preserve it and dry it so that the colors would stay simular.

How do I keep the color of the flowers I'm pressing and drying simular to when they are fresh?
the best way is to lay them flat and press them either in a flower press or waxed paper in a big book. you can crystallize them as well
