Question about keeping flowers fresh.?

Im about to get my girlfriend some roses in a few, but I wont be able to get them to her till about 10 2night and this is the only time I can get them. How can I keep them fresh without water or anything till I can get them to her? Or will they be ok for about 5 hours?

Question about keeping flowers fresh.?
Put them in the car with the wet cloth, unless it is actually below freezing outside.

I hope you can 'buy' your way outta trouble! ;~)
Reply:Cough up the money to get them delivered. Seriously. Not only is it very romantic to have surprise flowers show up, but you can write a nice note about meeting her tonight.

Roses are very sensitive flowers, a reputable florist will put them in water picks so they don't dehydrate while being delivered. Roses NEED water. They will not last without it, not for 5 hours without being refrigerated.

Also, they should be wrapped in clear plastic or paper by the florist so they don't freeze. Keeping them in cold will just give them frost. You wanna show up with wilted, frost bitten flowers?

I say get them delivered to her.
Reply:If you are in a cool area you might be okay. Best would be placing them in a vase of water (Makes a great presentation.) But if you can't do that, at least wrap the cut bottoms of the roses with a wet paper towel. Store them upright in a cool area, and they will probably do just fine.

Hope the grilfriend loves them!
Reply:if u can, put them in water in a fridge
Reply:Pull the condom out of your wallet add water and put the stems into it. =) ***BEST ANSWER***
