Any good ideas for?

table decorations for my daughters wedding in June, something a bit unique, thanks.

No fresh flowers as the groom has bad reaction to pollen.

Any good ideas for?
http://www.superweddings.com/decor/citru... Drenched in sun-ripened yellows, oranges, greens and pinks, Floating Fruit Candles allow your guests to enjoy instense fruit scents without the slicing! A vibrant and delightfully refreshing focal point for spring and summer reception tables. Especially appropriate for a brunch or luncheon, but would be equally perfect for any table that needs a burst of beauty. http://www.superweddings.com/decor/cente... Butterflies flutter and float gracefully atop a pretty bowl of water in this mesmerizing table centerpiece design - More of the magic which can be created simply with the use of floating candles! Use the butterfly candles on their own, or combine with floral floating candles to create additional interest within the design. Consider combining with Phalaenopsis floating candles, a perfect compliment to the look with their delicate petals. The Phalaenopsisis perhaps the most popular variety of orchid, and is known as the 'butterfly orchid" because its delicate petals resemble the wing of a butterfly, unfolding in velvety color. http://www.superweddings.com/decor/hc1_a... A gorgeous and imaginative table arrangement for the wedding with an angel theme or golden color scheme. A striking centerpiece of gilded elegance is created with a clear bowl filled with water into which a long length of shimmery gold organza ribbon is placed under water at the bottom of the bowl. Two gold leaf or feather floating candles sit in top of the water, along with a golden angel resting on a white cloud. This design will surely capture your guests attention.

Good luck!
Reply:For my June wedding My colors were Brown %26amp; pink and I bought big glass containers and filled with big brown nuts (still in shells) a lil ways then stuck a pink candle in them, with thick brown sheer ribbon around them with pink ribbon on top of the brown ....Then we also had fake pink flower pedals spread from in between the baloons and candles. We put peanuts in glass cups for people to eat.
Reply:Candelabras, lanterns with candles, bowls filled with fresh cranberries and a big candle one it.

Good luck
Reply:Small framed pictures of the bride and groom when they were kids. They're interesting conversation pieces.
Reply:I once ran an event where we used tall silver candleabras. We wound ivy around the candleabra as though it was growing and then hung a few bright red cherries from the ivy. It looked stunning - really medieval.
Reply:yeh some full bottles of wine. nothing gets the party started like a drunk person. everyone else follows and then no one cares what was in the middle only where to find more booze
Reply:Frame a beautiful portrait of the two of them and stand it in the center of the table surrounded by an arrangement of some silk flowers. Or create a photo collage, with several pictures of their time together. Or another idea is to use the same picture frames, but instead of photos, frame the story of how they met. You could also frame romantic poems, biblical phrases or traditional wedding verses. Place a different one on each table for some variety.

For a garden wedding or afternoon reception, use straw hats, wicker baskets, or antique teapots filled with bouquets of silk flowers.

Or use a multi tiered cake tray filled with pastries or cupcakes for your guests to enjoy.
Reply:don't think too much about it - just go for it!
Reply:Candles

Bowls of sweets/pebbles.

Vase

An appropriate statue
Reply:I went with alternating settings on the tables. All the tables had fake rose petals in my color. Then half the tables had hurricane vases with 1 or 2 inch ribbon around the bottom in my other color, and colored glass rocks in my first color at bottom above the ribbon. The hurricanes were in three different sizes, filled w/ water, with a floating candle on top of each one. The other tables had a fishbowl type thing with the same glass rocks at the bottom, filled w/ water, and floating candles on top, w/ one in my color (the rest white). Really pretty, really inexpensive - got lots of complements.
Reply:You could do a vase with water and fish in it. I think that it may even give a cool thought since it will be in June. Candles and bowls of beads or rocks are also a really good option.
Reply:Glass bowls filled with the little sweets 'Love Hearts'.

A nice looking note book on each table with a pot of pens; guests can be invited to write a comment in the book for the bride and groom.

Helium balloons (great fun after the party!!!)

A bottle of champagne or sparkling wine, decorated with bows.

A big pot of party poppers.

bowls of confetti.

(If you have time or if you are able) - a framed collage of photos featuring each person sitting at the table.

A framed quotation or romantic statement.

A little pile of presents - small gift for each guest at the table.

A bowl of imperial, or foxes glazier mints.

A chocolate fountain (in-practical, messy and expensive I know, but its an idea?)

Good luck with it all and many congratulations to your daughter and future son in law. I'm looking for original ideas myself for weddings; my boyfriend asked me to marry him last night on his 44th birthday, I said yes. I'm a very, very happy human being today.
