Decoration ideas for nov reception?
You could have a harvest theme. You could use Orange Gerera Daisies. Your centerpieces could be gourds or pumpkins.
Reply:Where is the reception? What kind of hall, outdoors (warm climate, of course), home, etc? I had a friend who convinced a nursery to let her rent potted mums --which come in beautiful colors and shades--to create a nice pond area at her reception. It was all set up the night before and turned out terrific. She used a liner and a cheap pump she purchased after summer on clearance. It was nice. The pond had floating candles and the colored slick glassy looking stones, and lots of green plants around it too. Just an idea. Search yahoo for unique wedding reception plans --maybe you'll find something you like. good luck
Reply:for nov, i'd go with leaves for decorations. glass bowls with water and floating candles and a couple (fake) leaves...

you could do a med sized floral arrangement in your colors surrounded by votive candles w you're names/date that the guests can take home....

sprinkle fall colored hershey's kisses and leaves on the tables....

there are TONS of oriental-type designs.

try oriental trading company, i think that's where my mom ordered a lot of our decoration stuff.

Good Luck

another cute centerpiece idea that wouldn't cost much is to hallow out small-medium pumpkins and fill w/water along w/a floating leaf or white candle. you can then place the pumpkins on mirror squares w/small votive candles and orange colored gemstones or wrap fall leaf garland around the bottom of the pumpkins-really pretty!!

congrats
Reply:A friend of mine did an October wedding and for her table favors we wrapped pouches of spiced apple cider drink mix in orange and hot pink (it looks good, honest - I was a skeptic at first but it turned out beautifully) tulle and tied it off with a cinnamon stick and a tag printed with their names and wedding date.
