Flower Help?
Take them out of the water, and re-cut the stems (at an angle) under running water. Also, remove leaves that will be under water in the arrangement, but do not remove thorns from roses as it tends to shorten their life. Put them back in a clean vase of fresh water, and add an aspirin and a penny. Copper is a fungicide and acts to preserve the water from too many yeasts and fungi. Aspirin is an acid and helps to kill bacteria overgrowth. Re-cut the stems and replace the water every 2 days.
