Cut the flowers at an angle under slow running cool water. crush up an aspirin and add to the water in the vase. Make sure all leaves are removed from the stem. Only the Stem should be in the water. good luck.
How do I keep flowers in a vase fresher longer?
change the water every day and trim the end of the flowers at an angle, put a drop r 2 of bleach in the water, which kills bacteria, keeps them fresh 4 up to 2 weeks
Reply:please add a bit of crushed aspirine tablet to the vase filled with fresh tab water
Reply:Best bet is from what kteuro had to say about the asprin and cutting the stem.
Reply:asprin, I think Tylenol. It is suppose to keep them alive longer.
Reply:Trim the bottom of the stem regularly, underwater preferably so that no air gets into the stem. A little sugar in the water will also help. Always use this method when putting roses in a vase.
Reply:Put some sugar into the water.
Reply:Add pure cane sugar to the water.
Reply:cut the dead ends off the stem %26lt; the area in the water%26gt; and put 1 aspirin in the water
Reply:grew it in the vase.
Reply:put some sugar in the vase
Reply:best solution
put a fever tablet in it. Crush it a bit (not 2 much) and put it the water which is in the vase.
believe me its works like magic
this method can also be used to bloom a flower which may have been broken off just before it bloomed
enjoy....
