in the part where it is talking about the squire...."he was embroided like a meadow bright and full of the freshest flowers , red and white"
i dont really get the meaning of that, can someone please help.
In the Canterbury tales, what does this mean?
He's fresh (young). He's using the description of his clothes to show his youth.
