I've always wondered. I mean, the flowers are always so fresh looking and beautiful. Where do they come from? Do they grow them? They normally sell about a dozen roses for under $10 which is a fraction of what you have to pay if you buy some from a store.
Help me out.
Where do those guys who sell roses on the side of the road get the flowers from?
I wondered that a few weeks ago.I was at a club and this really young girl walked in trying to sell them and you are right they seem good quality. I would imagine they grow them but I am not sure.

Reply:The Netherlands; where most of the worlds flowers come from, but probably second hand from nursery overstocks or they buy cheap flowers and tart up the bouquets themselves.
